Trucking Heads Back to Texas: A Recap from the ATA MC&E

Posted: 28 October, 2011 | By ALK Technologies

As our event schedule winds down for the year, the annual American Trucking Associations Management Conference & Exhibition is always one we look forward to attending.  This year was no exception!  We were pleased to be one of over 100 companies exhibiting at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, TX.  Just last month we were at the Gaylord Texan for TMW TransForum, so we knew the lay of the land pretty well.  Attendees at the ATA got a chance to see our brand new PC*MILER and CoPilot Truck booth, view some of our latest innovations including PC*MILER 25, and register to win an iPad 2 and CoPilot Truck navigation app.

A demo of our newest innovation, RouteSync, was front and center in our booth.  RouteSync provides a direct link between PC*MILER and CoPilot Truck, the leading truck-specific GPS navigation system.   Our team demonstrated that with RouteSync you can achieve in-vehicle consistency with PC*MILER operations and accounting functions.  This functionality is the only capability of its kind for the transportation and logistics industry. To learn more, contact routesync@alk.com.

ALK also announced the release of CoPilot Truck optimized by Qualcomm while at the show. Take a look at the coverage the announcement has received so far in Fleet Owner, Commercial Carrier Journal and Directions, or for more information, check out the press release.

If you attended ATA, we hope you were able to stop by our booth to say hello and see what’s new!  If not, feel free to drop us a line and let us know what’s on your mind at sales@alk.com.

We’ll see you at our next event, Descartes Evolution 2011!
