ALK October 2018 Round-Up

October continued to be a busy month for us at ALK. Across the globe our teams attended trade shows, educational sessions and connected with customers and partners. Read some of our October highlights below:

Trade Shows

At the beginning of the month, our US team attended the McLeod User Conference in Birmingham, Alabama. Bill Maddox, our VP of Sales, talked about optimizing trips through driver trip planning.

 

In Mid-October, our European team exhibited at PostExpo in Hamburg, Germany together with Pocketmobile. They showed how ALK and our partners provide tools for every step of the postal & parcel delivery journey.

 

ALKers also attended Mobility for Business in Paris, France with our partner Rayonnance:

 

A busy month in Europe ended with the 3PL Summit in Düsseldorf, Germany (see more details below):

 

The US team ended their month at the ATA Management Conference and Exhibition in Austin, Texas. It was a great event to connect with partners, customers, and some new faces.

Raise the Bar Company Event

In Mid-October, ALKers attended the last Raise the Bar company event of the year. ALKers learned about the ins and outs of driver trip planning and got involved into a panel discussion about Agile Development.

Hurricane Michael

Unfortunately, October brought another big hurricane, this time to the Gulf Coast and Southern States of the US. Again, we offered complimentary Premium access to our PC*MILER Web app to help trucking businesses plan their routes with weather, radar, road conditions and traffic display.
